I've never heard anyone coming in to a weigh in saying they caught their fish on Lucky crafts lures. For some reason when I look at them in the store, all the packages seem to have $ SUCKER $ written all over them.
God grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change; courage to change the things I can; and wisdom to know when to go fishing.

I guess I'm a sucker then, but I've weighed plenty of fish at a tournament caught on them. And you have obviously never used one...

While I do own a hand full of Lucky Crafts, I could never call anyone cheap for not buying them. They are a nice bait and seem to produce a little better (in my experience) than others.
Calling a fisherman cheap for not buying lucky crafts is like calling someone cheap for not buying the corvette of of the chevy lot.

I usually get mine when I get enough reward points at bass pro, or I find them on clearance. The only one I have ever paid full price for is the Sammy....fantastic topwater bait. I will spend the extra money for a quality topwater bait such as a sammy, yellow magic or rico.

The 2nd place guy, swindle did pretty good on 'em, coming in 2nd by just an ounce. Was funny seeing Rojas' eyes pop out like that when he realized he'd squeaked out the win.

The Pointer and Slender Pointer are the only ones I'll buy. I buy them sparingly too.

Went out with three different pro's at the PAA event last month on RH. All three were using LC cranks and none of therm were sponsored by LC. Watched one of them catch almost all his fish on a square bill. I've never purchased one before but plan on trying them very soon.

I'm game to try a few.
But is there something different about them in the water besides how they look? They look good in the package for sure, but what is it that makes them excel in the water?

Everyone was throwing RC 2.5's. LeFebre had one tied on, but pitched a jig almost all day on Day 3. And yes KVD won the Classic in the SK square bills, but Brandon Palaniuk came in 4th throwing an RC 2.5
