That's a good father man. My father actually stole a boat from me.

Just saw this post.Wow, so many memories made fishing with my boys. All I ever wanted to do was to see them grow up right.I felt that if I could get then interested in fishing at a young age it might give then something to do besides get into trouble later on.Fishing for perch at the "ramina" as they used to pronounce it,catching turtles with a crab net from the boat at Fork while dad was dying to fish for bass lol,and hearing those words that every dad wants to hear " I love you dad for taking us fishing"while slaying the sand bass on Hubbard, and so many more.Even the "THANKS DAD" in his post is an inside joke. When they recieved something nice from someone when they were little I would say" What do you say now?" They would reply thanks and if it was me they would reply "THANKS DAD".So boys, enjoy the boat and make some memories of your own.And don't forget to take your old man fishing in my later years so I can say "THANKS SON!"

With Love, Dad.....

Thats the same model I gave my son when I got my zx200 from now skeeterless. Hope you enjoy as much as my son, now when I go Okla don't have to take my boat. Guys always make sure to take your kids it really pays off and you have a fishing partner for life. My son lives in OK City now but we still get together and fish tournaments and for fun.

PURE AWESOMENESS!!!!

I hope my boy takes the same things away. We fished our first tourney together last week (he is 9) and even though dad caught him with a hook (and had to dig it out while he was crying) he said he could not wait to go again, and asked when the next tournament was.

Those words touched my heart and the time with my son was the best tournament time I ever had.

All any Dad wants if for his children to grow up right and make good decisions. A great fishing bond goes along way.

I pray a seed was planted. Love the story guys thanks for sharing.
