That is very nice. Did you customize an existing mold, or did you make that from scratch?

Its an existing mold from a manufacturer.

Those hot-tails color pads make an awesome bluegill color. I've been thinking about doing something like that since I saw them on fishingskirts.com.

I wish he sold the blue and green strands separately. He is not gonna do that just yet. I told him the other day he makes the best bluegill pattern skirt bar none. cheers

That color jig is closer to a bluegill than any jig color I've seen. Great work, Mark!

i believe a shallow living bass(10ft or less) diet consists mainly of bluegill...the bluegill live in the same places a bass would....grassbeds,docks,stumps etc etc...i think its just the most readily available forage for shallower fish.
