The last ramp nearest to the river(northwest end).Whole fingerling shad didn't work, the cats wanted cut bait only.Good luck if you go out there.

Went to Waxahachie with my boat, fished with the boat just out from where catfishhunter made his catch yesterday. Fished with cut shad and liver; got nothing. Went out to the stumps to the south, baited with range cubes; tried again and got one channel cat on liver. Tried trolling; got nothing. Home at sundown No one I talked to had more than one or two fish. Insanity is to keep doing the same thing while expecting different results. I must be nuts; otherwise, I would quit fishing. One fish is better than the usual nothing.

Looking at tpwd looks like there is 3 boat ramps there. Are all good to put in at?

I'm taking a buddy out there in the morning to try to redeem myself for my miserable skunking that I received today courtesy of Lake Bardwell. We'll be workin' the punch bait on the point at the city park I reckon. I've always done well with punch bait there.

I fished there about 4 times in the last month or so. Did okay. You have to be off the park property by 10 pm unless you're in a boat since they're all city parks. Got a few eater blues on cut shad and punch, and a few small channels on punch also. Bite seemed to be off last time I think due to the rain. I usually fish the park on Lakeshore(?) where the first boat ramp is. Last time out there was huge logs and lots of debris from the runoff right up on the bank.
