A couple weeks ago someone commented on this, but I am breaking 1-2 crankbait bills per trip. Square bills mostly, but I've broken other models too. I like the finish on the baits, just wish they were more sturdy. If you've switched brands, what's doin best for you?

Get what you pay for... Strike kings work, but I have been having quality issues with them as well. Going to excaliber next...
Don't know why I don't just use my bandits more. I've only broken one bill off. They catch fish too...

How are they breaking? Just fishing or are you slapping the bait on the water to knock off grass?

I have only had one break and that was because I kept slapping it on the water.

I really like the strike king 4S for square bills. Just make sure to change the hooks. I didn't last week and lost a 5 pounder during a tournament when she straightened out the hook.

I've broken a few bouncing them off docks.

The Excaliburs I bought are holding up great, but I haven't caught any more fish on them than the H20s.

if your breaking the bills on the H20, and they are new out of the package, return them to academy and exchange them.

if the bait is beat all to hell, then they wont exchange it.

I've fished those baits ever since they came out and haven't broken a bill. What's causing them to break?

Of all the crankbaits I've used I've caught more fish on Bandit lures. Never had one break, and I throw them fresh out of the box

I broke 3 in a row, a few minutes a piece, on the first three that I ever tried. I didn't say much about it as I figured I just got a bad batch. Thanks for reminding me that I need to take them off of the garage wall and exchange them!

I have a mixture of Strike King sexy shads and H20's line up. Love both, never broken either.

Weird, I have never broken one. The only square bill I have ever broke was not that long ago and it was because I was fishing out of the back of a boat and smoked it on the motor on the back of the cast.

This one was a kvd 1.5, but I have thrown the [censored] out of the h2o's and never broken one, but I think I have all older models because I dont lose them very much...and that might be why.
