I do not think I have caught 19# on that lake if you add up all the fish I have caught and double it.

You guys wanted to pre-fish Eagle Mountain lake for the duel of the bass clubs against Mansfield, how about Eagle Mountain???? The more we can fish it the better chance to locate honey holes. Just asking....

A buddy of mine went to Brownwood last weekend and said the ramp we normaly use is closed due to low water. The only ramp on Leon that is open is the same one we used before. I will check on Leon before the meeting. You may want to check on Brownwood.

Alright, me and Rolo got our practice in on Eagle Mountain. LOTS of bass (not sandbass) caught, I bet 30 between both of us. Most were dinks but there was some good over 10" spotted bass caught and a few GOOD bass caught. (4-6 pound range). Most of the dinks were caught in a certain part of the lake and all the keepers were caught in another. If we fish VS Mansfield there, I'll give more details. One thing that made me think that maybe we should do it somewhere else is we paid $15 to launch at Eagle Mountain Marina (which was ridiculous) and from what I've read, $10 is the norm at the different ramps. I'm not sure if everybody wants to pay that or not. Maybe one of the marinas will let us all launch free if we tell them that were having a benefit tournament?? Or we could just have it somewhere else. Don't matter to me, I'm bringing it either way!

The dam ramp is best by far. Not much left to work with at the state park. Oh, and by the way, the ramp at Brownwood dam is up and running!

West Bay Marina on the west side of the lake used to charge $5.00 per launch. Have they also gone up on their prices?

Man! $5 sounds good. Eagle Mountain Marina ramp sucked too for $15.
