FOLWPLAY - I JUST BOAUGHT THE OXYGEN EDGE SYSTEM THAT'S ON SALES FOR $199. SHOULD BE DELIVERED THIS WEEK. WHY DIDN'T YOUR DAD JUST PIPE THE OXYGEN INTO ONE OF THE EXISTING LIVEWELLS? MINE BETTER WORK!

Whitey - we are eventually going to do that. He bought the tank thing at the last minute (like the day before we left) and we didn't have time to pipe it into the boat. Right now, the boat is at the dealer having a few odds and ends put on to complete it. Soon as we get it back, we're going to try and figure out a way to split it and have it going to both of my rear live wells.
I think they work just fine (the O2 systems), once you've had a chance to test them and set them up. We just took it out there cold without testing and we probably didn't have the right flow set and he may have had too many in the cooler which crowded them. I know the guides I've been with use oxygen as a supplement to their livewells, and not as a subsitute.

DO YOU KNOW WHICH MODEL HE BOUGHT? I HAVE 2 LIVEWELLS AND WAS THINKING ABOUT SPLITTING IT MYSELF. DON'T KNOW MUCH ABOUT IT UNTIL THE UPS MAN SHOWS UP AT MY DOOR WITH THE THING!

I'll have to check on that Whitey. The first time I saw the thing was literally at midnight the night before we got up at 5 am to go fishing. I know you have to prime the stones by running some air through them. It's tough the first time because the hose connecting the tank to the stone wants to shoot off because of the pressure. You have to hold it on with your fingers until you can see a steady stream of bubbles comming from the stone. And then I'd let it run for awhile before I let go of that tube. Because you can adjust the pressure once it is set-up, I don't think splitting it will be real hard. Just gotta get a t-splitter and some more hose and then figure out how much pressure is enough to make two stones work. When we get a chance to work on it some more, I'll let ya know what we find out. Anyone else with one of these set-ups?
