I have a stereo in my Blue Wave, but I don't think it's ever been turned on while the boat is on the water...I tend to enjoy "FISH ON" as my music... woot

Been kicking around the idea of getting a new boat and told the wife I need one with a t-top so I can mount some wetsounds pro 80's so I can hear my music 150ft behind the boat crystal clear

If fishing solo, usually "1310 the ticket" or "105.3 the fan" if fishing with my buddy, the sound of me catching while he watches grin .. hooked

I forget to hook mine up anymore. I leave the positive wire to the radio disconnected to prevent an accidental discharge of the battery.

Use to be I always listened music. Mainly 92.5. One day we were crappie fishing Lavon (Mallard Park) and just cranking in the fish with the radio a blasting. Boat pulls up about 40 feet away and they are catching about 1 to our 5-10. They even had us outnumbered on rods about 4 to 1. We ran out of minnows and went to get more. Of course as soon as we untied they grabbed our spot. On the way back we saw them leaving looking disgusted and they said they gave up. We told them it must be the tunes and went back and finished catching our limit.

I love listening to music while fishing, the louder the better, and I've never noticed an associated decline in catch rates. And, it seems that the more "evil" the music is, the better. So, bring on the TOOL, Black Sabbath, and Iron Maiden.

Rock and roll is, by far, the primary driving force in my life (as if there's any real competition), for it just seems to make things work out better. Up the irons!

I wouldn't, myself, never join a religion that restricted my diet; see, I don't want to get into heaven that way.

We listened to oldies on Cypress Springs our last tournament. Wave Runner was blasting it across the lake "Loud and Proud".

I like to listen to music when catfishing, texas country and outlaw country, some gospel. But when I am bass fishing My favorite thing to here is my name called out in the hourly results. I can't seem to find the right station lately though. Starting to think my radio is broke.

Black Keys,Tool, Stevie Ray Vaughn, Aerosmith, Rap, Reggae whatever. Sometimes headphones sometimes speakers. Depends on my mood. Pandora Radio is awesome.
I have a buddy I fish with on occasion and we jam a certain group and catch our limit 90% of the time. Turn the music off and the fish turn off. Pretty strange.(Its HARDCORE rap lol)

I like my Skynard,as much as the next man,...but... Fishin' is a serious business. I enjoy Nature. No music in my boat and no music near my boat... Thank You.

I didn't really realize this until the other day, but I think when fishing is slow, music helps me with my patience some and I'll make more quality casts and retrieves when I have something to think about rather than not catching fish. For some reason, I also have more confidence when I listen to music.
