Can a Texas Game Warden check you for a Mexico liscense if you tell them that you fished in Mexico? The ones we ran into last time we were there insinuated that they could, and that they could cite us if we had fished in Mexico without the liscense.

Just buy the license. It's not worth the heartache of watching your "prized" rig get towed away. I may never get the chance to fish Mexico's waters... but story tells that the 12lbers+ live on that side.
