Can a Texas Game Warden check you for a Mexico liscense if you tell them that you fished in Mexico? The ones we ran into last time we were there insinuated that they could, and that they could cite us if we had fished in Mexico without the liscense.

No they can not cite you for not having Mex liscense.

Just because thats what honest folk do. Honest Folks should round up all Illegals and turn them into the local Police department. Honest Folks should make the USCIS enforce legal Immigration into the USA, and not over look folks from the Mexico Honest Folks should rise and vote out all elected officals in government that don't enforce legal immigration. Cheers to that!

Just buy the license. It's not worth the heartache of watching your "prized" rig get towed away. I may never get the chance to fish Mexico's waters... but story tells that the 12lbers+ live on that side.
You know the old saying
If it floats, flys, or f___s it is always cheaper to rent!
You have to decide which is more important.
