Agree on all the comments about the wind and "different" ride. But my Dad is 73 years old and thru w/tourney fishing, he had a 19' Xpress and got rid of it last year, traded it for a pontoon baot but wishes he never did. The toon is good for what it is for, but dad like to fish way more than ride and cruise. He likes the shallow stumpy ares of Houston county and Lake Palestine, and the toon just ain't cutting it. He will fish on good days and in protected areas.

My sister in-law has search and rescue dogs that do water searchs, this is the boat they use 18 ft yama motor. Never been in but been on the lake when they just fishing on some rough water. They live on Ute lake NM wind always blowing boat takes it good. I was fishing one day the wind was about 45 mpr when they called me on my cell and ask me to come follow them in. We had some two x four footers the g-3 did good going back. Hope this helps, I have a 20ft skeeter.
