Hey guys, thanks for all your prayers. For those that don't know, KJ is my best friend in this world. We've all been a little freaked out by this but there is good news. The doctors removed a small melanoma from his face and a large one from his shoulder and that should be it. No further treatment necessary. Kelly will still have regular check-ups to check for anything new, and I hope that we will all do the same.

The spot on his face looked like nothing, just a brown tan spot. The one on his shoulder while large, had been there a long time and was very superficial. KJ was very blessed as this type of cancer can be extremely aggressive once it invades the body, internally.

So there you have it. Kelly, while very friendly, is a super private individual. He only let this go public so that we would all be reminded to take early skin cancer detection and its prevention seriously.
