We went Saturday afternoon along the Dam and jump a few spots. Caught 15. About 6 ft out and 6 ft down. Then the wind started and all shut off. My son caught 4 yesterday, 3 females.

Ok guys, the fish have found the shallows on the southeast side. I have said before that I fish about 15-20min boat ride south of Henrietta bridge. Its been a few years since we put in at Scotland to get to this spot. I have gotten there by land 5-7yrs ago, but the gamewarden started coming and giving tickets because you have to cross a fence with your tube and waders to access the lake by land. They frown upon tresspassing on private property, even if it is less that 20 yards from road to the lake. Last week my crew cleaned over 175 crappie Wed, thur, frid. I only got to fish Friday and my boat with two guys cleaned 37. We only threw back about 4 and only measured 3, but all measured were over 10inches. We were the first boat in this particular cove at 0700 Friday morning and by 0800 had about 15 fish in the boat. Another boat pulled into the popular cove around 7:45 and I guess the three guys caught about 20 keepers before they moved on. The other boat was a guide with one of the fishers from Runaway Bay(Bridgeport). This spot I fish is not hidden because at any given time there can be 3-6 boats in there. The wind was brutal but we beat it out there and followed my buddies bayboat back. Easy ride following that back to the Henrietta Bridge. I have pictures of the 50 caught on wednesday and the 37 caught friday on my phone. I dont know how to post them from my phone to the forum. I have Friday's pics on my fb. The good news is we have been fishing this spot for the last 8 weeks and last was the first time 25 crappie were taken. In years past you could watch one boat limit out in about 2hrs then pull in and limit out yourself. It is quite comical to watch 12 corks in a 12ft circle each pulling fish after fish after fish. We always fish this hole first because it usually is the first spot on the lake to turn on. Now there are several more spots we access by land on the West side that should be turning on soon.

So are you talking shoshonee park area? That's what it sounds like to me. Are there any shallow areas along the way to watch out for that will tear up a hull. I tried to go through there when the water was lower and decided tearing up my boat wasn't worth it. A friend of mine put a fencepost in his trying to get there from deer creek a few years ago also.

not shoshonee park. Im not sure what its called, We call it ranch house bay. Maybe old Simpson? ranch house is the land access. There is a lone fishing pier in east corner with a beaver dam halfway back on southern rim. the beaver dam seperates a stock pond from the main lake. this year, right now you can skit across dam in a boat and fish both sides of the beaver dam.there is also a rock wall well that sits just under water along the north bank northwest from the pier. that holds fish also.

on east side of lake between deer creek and henrietta bridge. If you go past deer creek boat ramp few miles and turn north the road will take you back to the old ranch house land I am talking about. Google earth shows it perfectly, even the dam beaver dam serperating pond/lake

Ya I think you are looking in the right spot. White pier in cove beaver dam on south side separating lake from pond. Thats it!

I'm heading out to the third bridge tomorrow, anybody have any reports on it? I have only fished it from the water in my kayak but I'm going to leave it at home and fish from the shore. It seems like I shouldn't have a problem parking on the grass at either end of the bridge and walking on the rocks I would imagine or is there a better way to fish the bridge from shore.
