I can't stand people who play LOUD music that can be heard from a mile away. I don't crank a thousand watts thru speakers when I listen to the news, music etc and force people a mile around to listen to what "I want" to listen to. My thoughts are, listen to what you want but don't force everyone on the lake and plum into the next county to listen too. I keep hoping they will come out with a noise law. It's as irritating to me as it would be to most people if I was cussing to the top of my lungs in the park when they are there with their kids. Yes, I know I probably shouldn't get that mad about loud music, but I do.

Yeah, I think most people realize that not everyone wants to hear your music (especially when its not mainstream) and keep it down. I think its more the wakeboarders and skiers that don't give a flip.

My favorite is the old Chris Ledoux songs, but not so loud as to bother others. I can't stand the idea some have that I want to listen to THEIR music just because they do.
(I'd love to have a 'gun" of some kind that would fry the electronics of any sound system that played above a certain decibal level, especially in town when the "Domers" were close!) nuts

I play Jimmy Buffet and a lot of fishing songs to go with it. Sometimes when I'm fishing, but mostly when I beach the boat and swim.

All fishermen are legends in their own minds! Ranger Boats, Yamaha Outboards, Humminbird Electronics,Motor guide, and all the tackle in the world.

Installed two separate pairs of selectable speakers in the bass boat....one pair just for when fishing that's fully isoloated from the boat and not being heard in the water and another pair that's for using when I'm working on the boat when its trailered.

Here's my run down:
launching- no music
no wake zone- no music
wake zone- Alan Jackson time
approaching other fishing boats or passing- shut up time
approaching fishing spot- enter sandman entrance music
landing at fishing spot- the song of my mind focused on nature and methodically and surgically piercing jaws with a 5/0 hook.

i listen to music sometimes ...but NEVER in shallow water id say under 15' is a no no ...never early in the morning as i enjoy the peaceful aspect of the early morning and the sounds that go with it ... usually when i do listen to it is in the summer time when the days are really long and i spend majority of the day out there on the water and sometimes in the evening when there is a baseball/football game on ... id say 95% of the time my music is off

I keep it just loud enough for us to hear. Of course I am 1/2 deaf, so it might be too loud for the next boat. LOL!

Alan Jackson and cold beer! If I catch something than that's just icing on the cake!
