Flip that switch and back reel the fish.

Set your drag like you always do.

When the fish is on, don't try to wrench it to the bank, set the hook and let it pull, as it pulls back reel.

The drag will still work but you want to stop back reeling when you hear the drag.

I watched a video the other day where this dude was catchin a striper and the fish was taking drag and the fisherman was reeling in the line. You could hear drag singing and he was a reelin'.

Try it, you will never go back once you master it.

Hold the rod tight in one hand and let the handle float in your other hand.

The fish will pull and it will back reel until he stops.

You will lose some fish in the beginning but in the long run you will be the master of the spinning reel.

90% of the crappie fishermen can't say that.

You have the perfect place to learn this.

Can't wait until next Sunday to see the pics and see what you think about it.

I just painted my first lure. It's not the best paint job but I hope the bass hit it. All I have to do now is put a clear coat on it.

Looks good. What did you used as a stencil for the scales?

ROFL, typical dang fisherman, She's not gonna let you go fish tomorrow if you don't get on that honey-do list ASAP!
