Whether you think you can or you can't, you are probably right.

The main difference between the Sportsman and Pro is that the Pro has relays and the sportsman doesn't. This causes a voltage drop resulting in power loss from switches mounted at the bow with the Sportsman. The pump is quiter for the Pro as well. I have had both and have installed both here at R&R I would definatly spend more to get the Pro. Much smoother operation overall.
By the way that is a very good price from Rockwall Marine.

Steve what about the Sig series? It seems like the upgrade to get a cover, lighter unit, faster and quieter pump for $250 is a good deal...although the main reason that is what I want is it looks cool and the maroon one matches my boat better.

I love my dual Signature Series Power-Poles! Like you said you get a lighter unit, quieter pump(not that the pro is loud by any means) free travel cover and they look Sweet!
