I had one in last boat and would listend to the football games while fishing on Sunday afternoons. I just figured I was killing 2 birds with one stone.

I fish by myself most of the time so listening to the radio is a godsend. Typically it's smooth jazz just loud enough for me to hear it.

I listen to all kinds of music when fishing. I then keep a log, what songs were playing when they bit best.

I only listen to the radio when fishing if the GF is with me. If im solo, then i never do. The water/birds/fish is great music to me. Was out on Lake Somerville the other day and there was a huge center console boat trolling around with their music BLARING!! There were 20-30 mph winds, and probably 2 ft swells at least. Even when the boat was 100 yards away, their music still was loud to me, even over the wind/waves/etc.
The whole wakeboarding thing i just dont get. I guess if your a wakeboarder, its imperative that you do it as a service to yourself, as well as all other wakeboarders on the lake, to play your music AS LOUD AS POSSIBLE!

I am 69 and always listen to radio,something soft.have been bass fishing 60 yrs,can't say music ever interfered w/catching fish.

I offer to sing any song my partner would like to hear! Hence no music in my boat!!!!!!!!! I sing the Bill Dance theme song in early am, my partners hate me for it.
