I use 17# XPS and Trilene. I do think the jump from 15 to 20 is stupid. People who think it's not look at the difference in 10# and 15# strength.

Try 17 lbs McCoy... flouro and mono. That is the line that I use, and am super happy with it.

i use it for topwater. I have a 3000yd spool of trilene XT in 17 pound test. got it cheap off the outlet bait & Tackle website on clearance.

you will now be fishing with a bungee cord. I tried the suffix 2 years ago and couldn't get a decent hookset with it because of the stretch.

Been looking for 17 pound Trilene at my local Wally World for a month - it hasn't been in stock???????? Been using it for at least 10 years...

I have never seen 17# big game....only 10.12,15, 20. Where are y'all getting it? I've use 17# Trilene XT, but it is pretty springy.
