+1 I use cubes. I've also used soured milo. No need to add yeast or beer or sugar. Just add water and wait. Get a wiffle ball bat and plug the little hole in the end. Cut the big end off and fill with your chosen chum. You'll be able to sling it way out there without getting it on you.

I use milo a lot before cubes. Cubes work great and don't stink so I stopped using milo/wheat

I baited w/ range cubes this weekend while fishing w/ punch bait and hooked in to a few good buffaloes. Funny b/c I never have caught any before in lakes where I know they are there. I think it had something to do w/ the range cubes? I've seen a few people mention buffalo for bait. Are they good for channels and blues when you cut em up? yes & carp too ... scale, leave the skin on & fillet but don't make the fillet over about 1/2" thick
