I am going to give it a shot tomorrow, and I have never fished there before. If anyone wouldn't mind sending me a PM with any kind of info I would greatly apreciate it. You guys have a good one.

Pass by waxahachie and go to clark lake in ennis. I've been killing them shallow on flukes. I agree. It is even tougher than normal on Wax right now because they're pumping in water from Bardwell. It looks it, too. I've never seen it so turbid. That said, if you MUST fish Wax, soft plastics c-rigged from Dale Hansen's dock around to the main point will get you a few little ones. Fished wax yesterday and the bite was good 30 minutes before dark. I was catching a few dinks and a couple keepers and holding up next to a rock wall and this guy in a little flat bottom boat kept going from one side of me to the other telling me how the fishing was so good on the other side of the point. I finally started moving again after the bite slowed and eased around to the point when this guy moved right in to where I was at and within a few casts, he hooked a pretty good black bass. He was wanting me to know that he caught it and was whooping and hollering claiming it was an 8 to 10 pounder. Didn't look that big to me, but it was a fatty for sure. Looked like he was using a texas rig worm, but not sure.
