Just a heads up on the barge, I have fished there, but it is posted for a reason. Risk verses reward. Can you afford it if you get caught?
We went to third bridge early afternoon yesterday. Caught a few on the northwest corner, but the wind was too much after about an hour.
Made our way to Henrietta bridge and not even a bite there. Wanted to try the Damn, but the wind was too much there also.
We did try the barge but I was too uneasy to stay long. A land owner came over and confronted me and my son. There were others there too but I think they had other things on their agenda than fishing.
A friend went to Kickapoo and caught 25 in two hours. He would not say where he was at though.
We need to have another $5 tournement. Anyone up for it next Wednesday? Fish your favorite spots this weekend and we will all vote on where and when. Havent seen most of you since last year.

Man that wind is crazy! But about the 3rd Bridge... It sounds like to me its heating up. Any males been caught in shallow waters?

Anybody ever tried smoked crappie? I bet they've all been blown into the mesquite trees and then burned up.

Just wondering if anyone ever goes to Millers Creek on the other side of Seymour? I haven't been this year but usually have pretty good luck there. Didn't know if the crappie were biting there yet?

I went to a private pond of my buddies and TORE THEM UP. but that is just a stock tank. we caught about 40. Just thought I might throw that in there! haha
