SKR, check your email, if you see this first. CG, if the reel works out to be usable, can you and SKR, figure out how to get it when you go to the Metro area this weekend? Then we can rig it up on the trip out to AJ alley. laugh

TOO-I'd be happy to pick it up on Friday sometime if Skeet doesn't care. Let me know though.

Skeet, what does you Friday look like? I'm headed up to BassPro about 10 am and it wouldn't be anything to swing into Arlington sometime. Let me know...

Hey Skeet, just in case I don't get to check my email between now and Friday, my cell number with Sprint is 325-374-1482. Call me anytime and let me know if you want to hook up on Friday or early Sat so I can get that reel for TOO.

Thanks,

Cameron

TOO, I talked with Skeet on Friday but was unable to make the run over to his place on Sat morning before returning to San Angelo. My brother, however, may see if he can swing by and get it sometime this week. He may be a late entry for us and could therfore deliver about the same time as me.

Sorry for not getting it, but we'll see if we can't still arrange it somehow. If nothing else, Priority mail probably would cost $7-$10 or so if you just want to ship it? Just a thought.

PS: 11 More Days EVERYONE!!!

the reel is in San Antonio. I had a friend unexpectedly come up for the weekend and he took it back with him.

Glad to see you got the reel. Sorry I couldn't help, but sounds like you got it earlier without me in the picture anyway.

I looked at Dolphin Docks website, they had a 100+ pound Mako come in last week. Boy, wouldn't that be SWEET!!!

Kneal, check out this forecast, hopefully it won't be a repeat of this coming weekend. It's forecasting seas 5-7 ft. Maybe it'll be like Wed this week with 1-2 ft seas laugh

You know...I was just sitting here in my office this morning thinking this exact time next week, we'll probably be pulling up at our first stop (if not already) somewhere between 40 and 50 nm out in the deep blue. cool

Man this next week is going to be the longest 7 days I've had in a long time frown

OK guys, this is it. We're going in 4 days! Final check list...

1. We're all paid up and ready to go.
2. Right now start time is 6 am. The forecast is kinda rough for Friday but calming in the afternoon so we may push back our start time a bit. Check with me for details later in the week.
3. On Board stuff: Bring your food, non parishables if possible, drinks (we need to get a count on coolers, any volunteers?), sun screen, gear if you want but they do have it, rain gear if you want as there is slight chance late Friday, sea sickness medicine if needed (looks like it's going to be a little rough on Fri morning so better safe than sorry), a Hat, Sunglasses and most importantly a good attitude.
4. If you're in town, we're going to Castaways afterwards for dinner if you want to join us.

TrapperBen emailed me over the weekend and is going to have to pull out b/c of last minute travel with work. Does anyone have someone in their party intersted? I will open it up first to us on the boat already. I do have a couple that will jump in last minute if we can't fill the spot. I know I'm the point man on this but we're going by the boat's policy:

"[1] All fishing trip reservations are considered tentative until trip is paid in full. There will be no refunds unless a reservation is cancelled 30 days prior to a 12-hour or shorter trip (90 days for 24-hour trip or longer) or less or until your vacancy is filled. All cancellations are subject to an administrative fee of 10% of the cost of the trip."

Lets see if we can't help TrapperBen out on this and fill his spot. Let me know...

Guys, my cell phone number has changed. Here is my new number: 325-374-1482 I pretty much always have it on and will for all of Thursday afternoon, evening and night. Please call if you have any questions.

Thanks,

Cameron
