So what do you all think for this weekend hitting the third bridge east of Scotland, Hen bridge, the mouth of the lake at Shoshone or fishing the damn at the state park? I'm actually going to try and fish in the area instead of going to Dallas or something and I'm hoping to catch me some dinner.

No, I caught over 20 fish measuring 6-8 inches. They were about 4-6ft down.

I am out Saturday, will not be in town but I plan on being out there SOMEWHERE Sunday.

Going to buffalo creek Thursday with a out of town buddy in my wife and my kayaks, so here is hoping the fish are shallow and we can snag some. Went to Shoshone today to paddle around with my wife and just enjoy the day and a guy i was bsing with was down there for like 5 days catching cats to stock the freezer. Ended up giving me a nice 5 lb cat, so now i have me a wonderful dinner for tomorrow. smile

We went out to Arrowhead and fished off the public boat slips last night. Got there about 5pm and fished til dark. We caught about 12 altogether, but only 4 were big enough to keep. Two of them were very nice. One big female and one big male. We actually had many many hits, but you have to be very careful because of the Christmas trees they've dropped in there. I lost three or four good fish getting hung up in the brush. I also lost about 8 crappie rigs from the same thing. We fished minnows at about 10ft. and also jigged at about 10ft. I caught the big female on a black and green tube jig with a pink jig head. There were about 10 other people out there and everyone caught some fish. Not a lot, but it seemed like everyone was going home with at least 4 or 5 keepers.
