I did not see any bedding bass however the wind had the water churned up a bit. The guy in the office said they had started and should not be finished yet. The ones I caught were either males or small and not full of eggs females.

I have done real good with Wat-Mln Red or Green Pumpkin Senko/ stick baits wacky rigged around the stumps and Jigs on the cedars over by the camp grounds. A C-rigged lizard works on the flats around the island, fish spawn there and dragging the rig slowly will get you bit when the water is too stained to site fish.
A Red Craw or Chart Shad, Rat-L-Trap and shallow cranks are usually good on windy days as well as Spinnerbaits along the windy banks.

Please PM him...he needs all the advice he can get. He has been torn up the last 2 or 3 years. His Louisiana red fishing techniques aren't paying off at Purtis Creek.

Lol, this guy is relentless in his efforts to build himself up! Help me start a new reign. His boating partner is even worse with the trash talk...

I lost again! I'm really starting to hate this lake. I'd post pics but it was pathetic fishing out there.
