I'm in a blue and grey Crestliner. If you see me, stop and say hi if you want. I'll post a report later.

Well so far the birds aren't working, but we are still putting fish in the boat. We're fishing the edges of humps. The fish are scattered and small.

I wouldn't waste my time over here today, Brian. That cold front that moved through really has the fish scattered. Between the two of us, we've only caught about 25 fish and all but two were little dink males. If you do come out, stick to the edges of the slopes and drop-offs. The magic depth so far is 14' of water.

I am headed out tonight after work. keep an eye on deeper water. Saturday I did better in 26' at one time and 30' a bit later, when the day started out in 15' feet of water

I m going to hit it this evening also. Went out last night to test the trolling motor I just fixed. I only got a few small ones, nothing like last week. Hopefully they will turn on tonight again.

Anyone know where to get some minnows for some crappie on the east side of the lake?

a couple of places.
1st on boat club road right by Baily Boswell intersection, a little gas station.

2nd is on boat club rd. further north. There is a little shell station by the turnoff to Lake Country Marina

3rd? There is another one at a little gas station headed the other way towards Lake Worth on boat club rd. I think this place does anyway. They have worms at least.

4th? Not on the east side exactly but Augies has minnows

Ended up with about 30 fish. They were scattered. All but two were small males, the two were big females. We tried deep, shallow, and in between. This cold front that we just had really scattered the fish.

I launched out of there this morning and a couple, of gentlmen were kind enough to advise me about some large rocks just under the water off the right side of the ramp (as facing lake). Despite their warnings and my best efforts....I still found 'em. Best to launch as far off to the left as possible. If we don't get any rain soon I might have to start driving an extra few miles and pay $5 to launch out of Lauderdales. Just FYI, watch out for them suckers.
