I caught 2 10 pounders within 30 minutes of each other with a DD22 a few summers back.

Actually, Beavertail lures was the first soft plastics company to made a "bloodshot" color, where one color was shot inside the other one.

It was an accident and turned out good, many copied it for years but i haven't seen any in a long time,

Also Gatorhawk lures was the first brand to use pig fat in the plastic to flavor thier soft plastic baits.

It's very common place now for people to salt them, or flavor them. Gatorhawk did it first.

Two bad both of those companies are out of business, they were both innovators and came out with two methods that were heavily copied afterward.
