Here is a couple of different schools of crappie I took screenshots of on submerged timber a couple of days ago. I know I should have been looking for spawning crappie but couldn't pull myself away from this structure to go looking for spawning fish!

My dad, brother, and two nephews were down from Kansas and fished with me Sunday through Wednesday morning, we took off Wednesday afternoon and rested up as they headed back home Thursday morning. We had to fight some pretty rough winds on Conroe for three of the days but still filleted right at 140 along with about 20 bluecats and channel up to 11 1/2 lbs on juglines. Didn't take enough pictures but here are a couple of the boys, the one of the cooler has a couple channel cats fillets in it but the rest are crappie.

COMING SOON! .. THE STICKLE HOOK " the stay level sickle hook". sits level in the water with all knots.! Provides better hook sets and more natural jigging motion. No more adjusting the knot, gluing , or tying loop knots that cause the hook point to tangle in the loop, or worse knick the line.. The jighook that will make all others obsolete !
