Watching those long points is some very good advice. I know Tawakoni has points that reach out a 100 yards or more. I know you want to open up that big motor but be very carefull this time of year. Most of the lakes are really low and taking stump thru the hull or losing a lower unit is not that difficult to do.

Texoma = Lots and lots of water!

Be aware of your fuel consumption as well.

In regards to Texoma, please don't forget about the Zebra Mussels and clean your boat AND trailer!

I was at Texoma Monday..it's a little on the low side. Where I normally fish is all sand and rock and there were a few stumps that I hadn't seen before. Be careful on any lake in North Texas right now..until we get SUBSTANTIAL amounts of rain.

Congrats on the new boat. Sounds like a nice one!!

All;
Find the lee side of a point or cove.
Run the boat aground and pin it in place with the motor.
You will eventually dry out.
I recall only one time when someone rose from the grave.
