No more report? I went last Saturday and caught the limit. West again. Planned to go again on Sunday but was too cold to go.

Fred - Where are you getting those temps from? I have a hard time believing the water temps have reached 70 so far, and if they did, they must be back down after yesterday and today.

I have a portable Hummingbird fish finder that measures temp. I turned it on in my bedroom Saturday, and it matched the 74 that my thermostat showed for my house. I carried it to the truck, and drove a few miles. When I got out of the truck, I turned it on and it said 79 degrees, which matched the reading that the temperature that my Chevy truck was giving me for an outside temperature. I walkeed down to the edge of a small lake near luna and beltline and stuck the depthfinder in the water. It still said 79 when I stuck it in the water, but within five minutes it said 71. Ten minutes later, with it still in the water, it still said 71.

Because he used a Hummingbird model 1019 Laboratory Edition Signature temp gage.
The kind used by Caltech high energy physicists.
And NASA engineers

Because a split second before the temp gage was applied to the creek water, it had been calibrated by top members of the state AND federal Department of Weights and Measures... to be dead on balls accurate

How exactly does that correllate to the water temp in Denton Creek? And fish fear me: What are you talking about?

I don't know that it is accurate. It is made by Hummingbird. You asked me where I was getting the temperatures, and i told you how i got them. I don't know that Denton Creek is anthing like the little lake. Now you and fish fear me are having fun with me. Listen, I'd love to meet you and fish fear me at Denton Creek. Give me a call at 214-883-4797
