How long did it take you to paddle to the mouth of the river?

Someone asked where Ranch House Bay was. Im not sure what else it may be called. I just know it by that name. My dad had a duck blind there in the early '80s and I personally have crappie fished it for 20years. I used to even drive my truck there from Scotland way and climb fence with tube and waders to get my limit. Now the game warden frowns heavily on crossing private property fenceline to access lake. Even when water levels are just a few feet from said fence. When you google earth lake arrowhead, it is the second cove south and on east bank from henrietta bridge. when you zoom in, there is a fishing pier at the back and another tank off of main lake body-south. used to be seperated by a beaver dam. this year because of water level right now, the land between tank and lake is under water-beaver dam still above water somewhat. Very popular spot for boaters last 3 years. I know 3 years ago me and my dad caught limits in shallows in Februray. Not this year!!

Took about 45 mins to paddle there, it was a lot closer then I thought it was. The wife, the dog and me where out there from 2-4 I think, saw about 6 boats but not you sam. Was pretty fun minus the wind and chop at the mouth.

maybe next time, fishing rythe!!! it was pretty windy out there yesterday!! we caught 2 blues about 20" long!!

man i love have4ing this lil boat!!! kinda wish i had at least a trolling motor for it!! maybe soon!!

about to head out to petrolia and try to find some crappie whil catching some cats!!

You have to download it to a website like photobucket.com then copy and paste from there to here. Cant come straight from your comp

Has any one been out lately??? I be down here in ft Davis. This weekend looks lime it might be promising.

I am looking foward to fishing this weekend as well.

If that means just gas motors or trollingg motors too. Also there is no boat ramp. Just holes in the cat tails. Good luck out
