Most of the fish are being caught shallow on the Tool side of the lake, you should feel right at home there.

On what color, do you have GPS cords? how do I present the bait, can you come to my house and let me follow you to the spot, or maybe just go catch a limit and bring them to me please.

How about I bring you 2 gallons of filets and 30 gallons of gas. cheers
sounds good. Where do you want me to meet ya rolfmao

I first want to apologize for not posting about what a great spring break we had on Cedar Creek Lake. I have been dealing with the death of one of my students /athletes who past away over spring break. Yesterday we laid her to rest to be with the lord.
If you do some research most of my posts have the depth, type and color of bait, brush, bridge, docks. I promise I try to give as much info without giving the gps coordinates. I have always said a picture tells a thousand words. If I post a pic with a limit of fish then they are biting. I get on the lake and do my homework. That is how I know if they are biting.

Chuck and the other guides on here do this to make money. I can't blame them if they're not posting coords or other specific information on an open forum just so someone else can go hit their spots. They'll point you the right direction but you'll have to find your own way.

Keith and the other guys on here (me included) aren't just throwing that info out either. In Keith's case he's spent time and money sinking brush and in my case I've spent time and money locating brush and other structure by idling around and burning gas. In other words we've done it the old fashioned way and earned it. Put in YOUR time on the water and you'll earn yours too.

And to add to what Jason posted, I thought I was helping out by telling everyone to fish shallow. I had no idea someone had already posted about it, & still haven't seen the post he referred to. I've been so swamped, I haven't had time to post or read TFF. Thanks to everyone for standing up for us.
I think some people just don't like guides. Maybe it's because they can't catch fish or maybe they've had a bad experience. I really don't know, I am thankful however to have loyal customers and friends stand up for us. Thanks

No problem Chuck, you have done way too much for the people on this forum, for me to sit back & not defend you when someone pulls some B.S. like this guy. Keep on keeping on man.

Chuck I do not beleive that you or Jason need to appoligize for anything. You are good people and have helped many of us time and time again. Which I greatly appreciate. You can tell by his messages that he is just having a bad bait day. Keep up the good works and hope to see you again soon.

Before I became a full time guide, I really had no idea how much work and determination goes into being able to catch fish on a daily basis. If we aren't able to constantly produce fish for our clients, we can't pay our bills and take care of our famalies. We're not trying to be secretive, or "milk" the situation for money, but we do have to ensure the financial security of our employees. Our days start around 4:30 or 5, and usually end around 7:30 or 8, which leaves us tired and ready to see the important people in our lifes, and doesn't allow much time for communicating on the forum. Chuck, Jason, and I are going to help everyone as much as possible in their pursuit of success; but we must also protect our investments in the meantime. Any guide will tell you, ecspecially one that has no other job like me and Chuck, that there is an immense amount of pressure that goes along with this job, and unfortunately that entails not sharing very detail laden information with the general public. Fishing is one of the most rewarding and cherishable activities that the good Lord gave us, and we are very blessed to have this line of work; it is still work though, and we have to do what we can in order to be successful and contributing members of this society.
