Kickapoo is another lake we fished alot when I was a kid. I may have my dad scout that one this week, wind permitting. Some of my best memeories were camping on islands in tents on kickapoo. I remember one time we woke up and had to bail water out of the boat because of storm the night before. Good memeories! Kids wouldn't know what to do today. My cell phone got wet tubing Friday. Its been kinda nice not being a slave to it for the last 3 days.

I drive a small pickup with faded camoflage and spotlight on top.
Sometimes it's pulling a white aluminum bassboat.

I will be heading out to Henrietta Bridge Thursday in hope for some Crappie. Hopefully the weather cooperates and the Crappie start biting soon. Is anybody else planning on heading out to HB wednesday?

Huge Crappie out at Buffalo. My hand from point of index finger to wrist is 7.5 inches, just to give you an idea. Did not have a scale.

The tails are on a down slope on that rock so the pics did not turn out like I'd hoped, I wish it was a flat surface, but you get the idea.

tried waurika lake today but the wind was brutal, decided to try for some hybrid and the sky turned brown, the sun disappeared and the game warden said that fishing would be tough because the wind kept changing directions making the shad schools unpredictable. He may have been blowing smoke up my @#$ but it sounded good to me. Anyway, empty handed again.

Jayhc2, Yeah those were from yesterday morning. I got out there bout 10am and yes there were many people along the dam shore fishing but still able to find a clearing to fish at. There was only one boater and one tube fisherman, so all in all not bad for a Tuesday morning. According to the bait shop owner across from Lake Wichita, the crappie are biting really well there in the evenings off the boat ramp/fishing pier.
