My daughter and I caught our limit on trout at plum!!! Call and got operation game theft in action!!! People are dumb. Fishing with out a lic and bragging about it!!! What pissed me off to call was he had his limit when I got there and he left shortly after I got there and about 15 minutes later and started fishing again. Need to get the game wardens # locked in my phone

I took my son on a tube training mission at HB and had Shad surfacing around us, fished around looking for crappie or sandies but too windy. We then went 4-wheeling for a while and as the sun was going down decided to try HB again and caught eight crappie in about 30 minutes with 4 keepers. All off the bottom with minnows.

Going to head to Buffalo Creek Reservoir tomorrow to launch my kayak and do some scouting/fishing for the first time. Anybody have any suggestions on where to launch from or a decent spot to attempt to do some bass/crappie fishing from. Any advice is nice, never been there so my knowledge is zero.

Crappie are on at Buffalo. Try around the dam, newer boat ramp area

There is a fine line between fishing and standing on the shore looking like a idiot.

What side is that on? Or is it easy to google and find on a map, assuming it would br nice to launch from and are the crappie hanging deep or have they moved in shallow?

I went out to Henrietta Bridge yesterday and right when we turned off the motor we hear tires screaching and then a dog yelping on the bridge. It was horrible to listen to but it turned out to be OK. Anyways back to fishing, We used black/char and black/pink jigs on the rocks and caught 4 nice big males. then the wind started picking up so we were on our way to try the dam then it started white capping so we went on in. the males were aggresive and slammed the jigs. most were about 4-5 ft from rocks. they havent moved up real close yet. but they should really start heating up really soon.

sorry for not posting sooner. my phone got damp in my wader pocket and no longer works. I fished from 8:30-4:00 Friday. I got 5 crappie and 5 bass. The other 3 in my dad's boat caught 5 crappie. The other boat in my party only caught few cats on jug lines. Its still too early, but soon. Maybe only couple of days. 3 of the 10 crappie had eggs. I caught my crappie in ranch house bay. Northeast bank from the beaver dam across from the pier. I caught my bass along the east shore from Henrietta bridge ramp. This are some fence posts coming into the water. Caught a nice 3lb bass right next to the post with barb wire on it. I fished only large minnows about 2ft deep. I tried to stay in crotch to waist deep water and fished the bank side stick ups and trees. Hard, Hard day fishing with little return. the pics are on my buddy's phone but posted on fb at chris-danita mcconnal erwin.

Good luck, fish should be turning on this week.
