Yes, that's right, we payed 6 places! 28 boats showed up and 6 places were payed. The top weight was not what it has been, but the average was still there. When you put 28 boats on Medina you just can't fish every spot you want so one team is probably not going to put together one of those giant bags we have been seeing lately at the Friday night tournaments.

First Place went to Matt Rigby and his partner David Linnenbrink with a total weight of 12.64 lbs. They also had the Big Bass of 5.47 lbs.

Second Place went to one of our fishing guides, Brett Fisher and Karen Sanchez with a total weight of 10.52 lbs.

Third Place went to Pat Zurovec and his son Jason with a total weight of 10.42 lbs.

The big bass this week was the smallest so far, but that IS NOT to say the fishing has slowed down. This week, we had the most 2.5-3lb fish weighed in yet!

We would like to thank Debra Hengst, Mike Hawkes and Wade Middleton (Professional Anglers) for joining us for a great time fishing the tournament at Red's Cove. Debra gave out lots of nice lures from Strike King and some awesome catologs. It doesn't take the pros very long to figure out the bite, even at NIGHT, and they did very well. The weather was WINDY and the moon wasn't out until almost the end of the tournament. We had a super turn out and lots of bass are still being caught. Some limits were caught and the lunkers are in hiding? The big bite has slowed and some anglers had a hard time getting the keeper bite but we all had a wonderful time on the water.

Second Place went to Wade Middleton and Mike Hawkes (Pro Anglers) with a total weight of 10.80 lbs.
