It appeared to me that the Oso Blanco Motel (956) 765-4339 was the best for fishermen. You can stay hooked to your boat and back right up to your room. They also have a good ramp behind the motel. Tina's just down the street is the best food. The motel also has internet connection, refrigerator, microwave and cable. Ask for a room on the highway side for better parking. This is not the Ritz but I think it's fine for a fishing trip.

We just stayed at OSO and it was cheap but kinda grubby. If you don't mind not so nice you can save a buck or two. I'll probably stay there again even though I may have mumbled a couple things about the room when we walked in. The Best Western is nice and they have free breakfast. If the price is close I'd go Best Western for the food. Might be a little tougher to park though

I always stay at the Oso Blanco. Cheap and easy, the rooms are not bad. They're not nice, but they're not bad.

Oso Blanco is my pick as long as u are on the side closest to the highway. Best western is a nightmare for boat parking

Sunbridge is were I will stay from now on. Clean rooms, you can back up to the room, good rates. I launch at the county ramp anyway and there is a nice dock there. I have stayed at the Best Western and Oso but never again.

Just got back from there stayed at Falcon Heights. Nothing fancy but clean and quiet. Sat outside at nite and visited with other fishermen and got lots of good tips. Got a place for your boat without unhooking and outside elect for charging batts. No tv has microwave and fridge. Has a place to bbq if you want to cook out. $50 a night. Oh and plenty of friendly dogs to feed your scraps to! Right down the road from state park ramp if you want to fish the south end of the lake.

We stayed at Beacon Lodge and it was more than adequate. $66 a night for a double bed.
