TPWD Inland Fishery Division completed a fish kill investigation late last week on the Brazos River. They found dead fish from the Lake Granbury dam to CR 1175. By Saturday, the fish kill had been reported as having extended to Ham Creek Park. Said the early estimate of 58,564 dead fish is probably on the low side. Sunfish species were the most commonly noted affected fish. Other species observed include white bass, largemouth bass, white crappie, striped bass, shad, darters, catfish, freshwater drum, and others.

I was out there today. We went up to Horshoe Bend as far as my boat could go. Caught several and all males. Most were small however we did catch about 10 decent sized. Everyone I talked to said they were catching mostly dinks.
