the state park closest to the denison dam of lake texoma is good. you feel more like an "isolated" world their with close access to fishing piers
That's Eisenhower, no good for the kiddo's.
Ray Roberts, isle du bois was nice, only saw a bit of the park before the sunset. Saw enough that would bring me back when there's no burn ban. That Hawthorne Circle area, I think it's Hawthorne, was nice, 1/8 to 1/4 mile walk in. But what's camping w/out a camp fire.
We need to find a place to go w/in the next 2-3... Still open for solid suggestions, see previous posts above for what were looking for, thanks in advance for posts.
