Few friends went today and trolled rattle traps around Welch Park. Ended up with 52 Whites. No Hybrids. THEN called me for help with the cleaning....What GREAT friends!

You shoulda came to help me. Those yahoos that I fished with this Thur. left me with about that many, and they took home most of the big ones.

Does anyone own the new E-knife from Rapala?(It is electric, and has a 12 volt power connection with 2 sets of blades in a case.) That new Rapala, that I got as a recent gift, has a handle that that came from "the big and tall". It gets tough to hold. May just use the old one and sharpen up the old blades that were ruffed up from yrs. of cleaning those FF reds.

I think we need a Fish-Off between some of us including Matt... AT Somerville.

If you were here to help, then you would have snorted beer out of your nose had you cleaned this one big female that had eggs packed in her belly. Between the big egg sacks was a 4 inch fresh shad stretched super tight. I don't know how it didn't burst the stomach lining.

Fishing is always easy this time of yr. Everybody wins.The hardest time would be summer&winter there. That would be the true test.

richie we trolled around welsh and went to work on so birds and on the way back to welsh trolled at about 15mph and ill be damned if a hybrid didnt bow my rod to the reel!!!! im done catching them1!!!!yall can have themm1!!!!!!

A fish off sounds good. On Somerville or Livingston. Goin tomorrow to catch some. Already have some lures with the barbs filed off for a lot of catch and release.
