These lakes here get pretty muddy during windy spells and it really doesnt seem to hurt the bite, I think the temperature fluctuations are making the fish bite inconsistent. Chartreuse seems to work good.
I wonder what happened to the boat dock? maybe it got washed out?

I found it, its that bridge visible on google earth, last time I saw it was about 15 years ago and the water was almost level with it.
I just hear people talk about the crappie they get from there, year after year.

I just hear people talk about the crappie they get from there, year after year. Is that the bridge about 1/4th a mile from the boat ramp on the left, in the little run off area? If so I saw that on google earth and passed right by it and didn't look twice at it since I was looking for a dock nice area too minus a boat flying around a corner scaring the [censored] out of me. Now if I hear a boat I'm heading to shore asap. I'm going go refish that area Saturday I think but the low visibility might make it hard to snag crappie but I could be wrong. Going to have to give it a shot and see what happens.

As the water warms up some of the crappie will move in from the main lake. They will be looking for warm water to do their thing.

Hey guys, I seem to remember seeing this park (Shoshonee) on a map last year but I can't seem to locate it now. Is it on the west side of the lake where the river comes in?? I'm counting the days until vacation (about five weeks away now), so y'all save me some!!

Stick to the right side on the road and you will run right into the water. I was there today from about noon to 3 and didn't catch anything, but did see a few catfish in the shallows and I'm going back next Saturday hoping to snag a few pre spawn crappie. At least it is a really pleasant paddle in my kayak, very peaceful and calm for the most part, the water did most the work pushing me nice and slow down the river. Hope to see you out there I'll be in my kayak hoping not to get run over by boaters

sam sam...there is NO place to fish around Seminole. You will be driving by most of the places to fish. Lake Thomas in Snyder and White River Lake outside of Crosbyton are our best options but they are not close to Seminole at all.
