Yes Lake Bonham, Thursday tournaments pay out 80% of entry fees and the Sat. tournaments are 100% payback...

I don't know how y'all are doing it. I used to catch fish on Bonham but I can't seem to figure them out any more. Prolly just need more time on the water.

This is just my .02 and a lot of others agree that the lake isn`t as good as it was just a few years ago. Over the past 3-5 years it`s gotten a lot more pressure from more and more bass clubs coming up and fishing it. I, along with others have noticed large numbers of dead quality fish just a day or two after a tournament around the ramp area. The old girl can still pump out some great sacks along with the lake record being set about a year ago, and the Jacksons bringing in a 33+ sack in the heat of the summer last year. The numbers and all around quality just doesn`t seem to be there anymore. I remember when you could flip reeds all day and have great numbers and a twenty pound sack was common. Still a great lake, but a lot harder to catch the better fish.

I agree 100% Tom. With the CRAZY shad spawn last year and the heavy pressure, it can be very tough at times.
