What is the best Gas Additive to help with Ethanol and how often?

Marine Stabil every fill up and sea foam 2-3 times a year seams the popular way about it!!

Also, locating gas stations without ethanol added!!

I use Yamahas brand of fuel additive recommended by the Yamaha tech.

I use Quick Kleen and have been satisfied. Satbil is for dudes who don't fish but a few times a year to keep the gas fresh. My worked 250 Mercury Racing Pro XS loves it and sets the water on more than once a week.

Not true on Stabil. I fish year round and use the amount it says for use not storage. Two different amounts of additive for each purpose. Evinrude ETEC 225HO. On the water at least every weekend and alot during the week.

I run a yamaha as well. Go with what the yamaha service techs tell you and you can't go wrong.

The stabil is different than ring free by Yamaha. Ring free is to cut down on carbon deposits. You still need to use a fuel stabilizer because ethanol is a blended fuel and will separate with temperature changes. A good fuel stabilizer for ethanol will help keep this from happening and save you money in the long run.

I fish year round and use Marine Blue Stabil and Yamaha Ringfree and feel confident that my motor is being treated well. I also use Marine Stabil in my generator, pressure washer, lawnmowers, etc. and everything seems to be treated well...

I use Stabil Marine in everything but my daily driver. It goes in the boat every time I add gas.
