Martens is a very talented angler. I truly believe he'll get his Classic some day. I think the two were just ribbing each other. I know I couldnt fish that close to someone in a tourney. I guess BASS doesn't have a distance rule.

Did you know there was fog at the classic? 600 miles to venice! My Lowrance Radar! Couldn't have done it without my SHO! Triton is just awesome! Thank you Nitro! Think I'm going to go to Dick's Sporting goods and buy all the KVD baits.

Both were on Zona's show. You know him and KVD are tight, Martens appears to be just as tight with Zona. It wouldn't make much sense to have bad blood there. Competition can make buddies act weird.

I like it when KVD started yelling making it know to everyone that he caught another toad, he got in all their heads withing shouting distance. So that was basically all of the. He got in Rooks head bad....

I don't think there was supposed to be any tension in that scene. I think that Aaron is just a bit of an odd character and his comebacks are lacking in effectiveness.

It would be interesting to really know how many of those guys were on the bent pole pattern? Or if they all talked to the same locals?

I can tell you there was lots of local info prior to the cut off back in December. You can't take a place like the Delta and just get lucky and find spots like that. As one of the locals told me, it took them 20 years to find spots like that.

One of the youngsters (not sure which, maybe the guy that lost the big one at the boat on day 3) said that he had to get away from the worm fishing when he went pro or whatever... That is my problem too, I will throw a worm all day... I need to chunk for CB's; for the most part, I have totally gotten away from them....
