I've seen those mounts before from his thread. They're pretty cool. I'm trying to avoid drilling any holes into the canoe for the motor mount. I'm going to use the side mount method, but with some modifications, have the motor mounted on the back of the canoe. In the mean time, a friend of mine who's pretty good with AUTOCAD is designing me a custom motor mount. I was just doing research.

hey guys thanks for the compliments on my work! I permantly mounted my trollin motor mount be cause it make a solid place to tie it down with a ratchet strap to yhe truck bumper. be sure to use all stainless hardwear. let me know if anyone wants some rod holders or a motor mount. just leave me a pm. and i will respond in time patience young jeddis! lol have a good one
