Richie, What's up? I plan on going to the culvert Friday night from about 6:30-8:30 if it is not raining. Yeah we need to do a group fishing day. I'm ready.

Hey Jig In Janitor-- In a word--NO! The only caveat is that you fish after business hours or on weekends. Some of the high tone businessmen types don't like to look out their windows overlooking the canals and see someone haul out a 2 lb crappie or a 5 lb plus bass or channel cat!

What about directions for someone who has no idea where this is?
Thanks in advance!

BuddyLee147, There are a couple of places to park where I go to fish at Las Colinas. I'll try to describe how to get to the one I park at. Don't know how well you know Irving/Las Colinas (the major streets are O'Connor and 114). Get to O'Connor & 114 intersection the best way you can. Take O'Connor north towards the Mustang statues. Right before you get to the statues there is a parking lot to your right. You can park there after hours for free. After you park, walk towards the canal. Get on the sidewalk and walk under the overpass. You will see a resturant on your left across the canal. Keep walking til you see where the canal ends. This is the hangout(at least the one I know about). I plan on being there tomorrow from 6:30 to about 8:30 if it is not raining. If you can make it join me.
