it's disgusting that people take the time to get to the creek etc, but wont take the time to take walmart bags/trash bags to put their trash in it and carry it out...

That kind of behavior just does not make sense. Do they just go once a year, not catch anything and trash the place out of spite or something? I have already packed out a ton of other peoples mess at Marshall Creek. The beer cans explain a lot. Have to say that somebody is doing a good job of keeping Denton Creek at 377 clean so far. But the trash can there at the parking lot is beyond full.

i hate it when I find trash in our city park point right next to the ###### cans!
Hooking a fish is like playing string with a cat. The exact size, shape, color of string matters less than how you wiggle it- and little cats are easier to fool than big ones. John Gierach

I think I know that place, I went there or a place simular and could not believe how trashed out it was, didn't think many people went back there.Sad, yes , but you can tell by trash left behind who is doing it and they don't even , ah screw it they're not reading this and they won't stop cause they don't even see anything wrong with what they're doing. To them it's just like back home, no rules, anything goes. You know who you are, tell your fellow man to stop trashing every place they go or else the fishing hole will eventually be closed down. One of my favorite places is threating to put up a fence because of the Coleman bottles getting caught in the power plant. IT'S NOT THAT HARD, U BROUGHT IT IN, U TAKE IT OUT !

Awhile back one of my sons, at 16, tried to outrun the cops after speeding. (he didn't get far). His sentence was community service and we arranged for him to pick up trash at our favorite creek. If you have a community service director at the nearest courthouse, inform them that you have a job for a kid that has been sentenced with community service.
