Where is this Cow Creek? I'm not sure that I've heard of it...

I am not positive but i think it is somwhere just west of roundrock. Just a guess though

looks like you have a kodak camera... i had one and the lens would sometimes only open halfway like that lol

nah, that was a cell phone pic and that "shadow" area is the leather case the phone was in! The other pics of the stringer and them laid out on the concrete was with the same cell phone but out of the leather case.

With weather like we are having rt now, the "advance scouts" of the sandies start stirring in the creek from about "Presidents' Day" forward. Of course a slammer of a front shuts em down and moves em into deeper holes or back to the lake. Crappie fishing is excellent here too but they answer the bell around the first of march, give or take a few fronts.

Black bass fishing in this creek is always good.

My son and I went there last Saturday Rudy, my first time with my new to me Jon boat and FF.
We were breaking ice on some parts of the creek but we were marking lots of fish, just no takers.

We did do fairly well on channel cats with minnows where the creek comes into the lake though.
Didn't make it to the cliffs, there was just too much ice and the noise was huge!

I bet it's a different story by now as far as the ice is concerned! Hope to see you out there this season
