Went up in Denton Creek on Friday. Water temp was between 63 or so by the lake and in the upper 50s further up. They were hit and miss, but found them stacked up in places, many males, but a few females. Caught 19 Whites total and a lone crappie. About 10 keepers in all.

Bank fisherman were spotty as well. Few got into some nice Crappie a little further down from the dam.

Thanks to the gentlemen in the green johnboat that were having a ball catching them that hooked me up with the info and the extra lure. You made my day!

I will try Hickory Creek in a few weeks and see what it looks like

I ran into spots where I was catching tons of little guys, 8" long or so. What's that mean?

I went to the dam during the weekend and caught a few sandy at the pump. The dam is definitely a temporary thing and they should be gone by the raining season, otherwise it will get flooded for sure.

True about it dumping into Lewisville but it also dumps into Gvine before Lewisville. Went out again on Monday and tried my best to catch some above the dam with hopes they were making it through the pipes, after fishing for 3 hours and only catching a lone crappie that was very, very small I decided to hike down below the dam. There I came upon many people fishing both from boats and the bank, for it to have been a Monday, and no one was catching much. I ended up with one keeper and saw lots of the same. Bite was slower than latter last week but the cool front was the reason for that. The bite will certainly pick up after we get some rain on Wednesday night.
