All tho not fishing related my first post was based on the futuristic "what ifs" of the OP, I only made a comparison of the story of Sodom&Gomorrah to today's armed forces...big difference - no hate implied. sorry you didn't catch that.

Let's see 2012 is just around the corner. It will take about 10 years to get everything running again and fishing will not be at the top of the food chain. So, now it is 2022, and we are still fishing with the tools and methods that we have learned from the past. It has take 30 years to get from live bait to artifical lures that work sometimes; so here we go again, starting all over just to get to 2050. So to make a long story short,the definition of a boat will still be the same. A whole in the water in which we pour money.

Guys I don't believe this intended to have the outcome thats its having. It was a fun post about the future of bass fishing. Get a grip on your political and religious feelings and find the appropriate place to post and not some guys fun dream post. Great ideas and thinking Fluke.

and in 2050 Fork will still be consistently produceing quality fish while Ivie, Falcon, Amistad and yes Squaw have all gone by the wayside.
