I don't fish tournaments, But let's be realistic here! Who on Earth wouldn't you cancel this knowing all too well someone is going to tear up or damage their vehicle and or boat, Let alone getting someone hurt just to have a fishing tournament!

I can't pull my boat in this. I guess there to be 6 or 7 inches here. I understand that reschedules are hard and all, but not worth the risk for me either. I have fished some foul weather tourney's also and it took the fun out.

I exagerated a bit. I went outside with a tape measure and we have 7 1/2" of snow now LOL.

Tom and I decided to wait a while before we left this morning, I talked to Ken a few minutes ago, and he said it is still on, Jared is on his way out there now and is supposed to give Ken a report on the roads and the ramps, I don't think Ken can get on the computer so I will let you know what he says when he gets the report if I am still home!!!

I spoke to Jered about 5 minutes ago and he said that he has not had any issues pulling his boat on the roads. He said he is doing 45 easily. He is going to call me when he gets put in. As of now the tournament is still on.

Well you have to consider it is now almost 9m and it has warmed up a bit. At the time that you all check in its 5-6am and some drive a few miles to maybe 100 miles that morning.

I am glad yall stayed home Larry. The roads out here are not too horrible except for the snow. My worry is all the snow on the ramps in freezing temps, they will be a solid sheet of ice that if thick enough wont thaw til late in the day Saturday.
