I give up. I just got back from driving to town. Until last night all the roads around Tawakoni have been fine. With the temps not getting above freezing until around noon Saturday I am going to sit this one out. Add a little water on top of 6" of snow at the ramps and it is going to be flat ugly. My fishing partner is my 12 year old son, so him and I will be at home rooting yall on. If yall do have it we will show up at the weigh in. If yall reschedule we will be fishing.

I know Tom and Larry were supposed to head out here at 5am this morning. It will probably be 3 or so hour trip from Lewisville to Tawakoni. Hope they and everyone else heading to Twok today stay safe.

I'm not going to be able to make it. Until the snow came, I was 100%, but now there is no way. My fishing partner and I would be coming in from over 100 miles away. As bad as I hate to throw in the towel, it's the smart thing for me to do. Good luck to yall if the tournament happens, and be safe.

Just got a call from Shoestring Farm and said that we shouldent come because they got 6" + of snow...
I30 just got shut down at the Hubbard Bridge...either move it to Sunday or another weekend....

Maybe the one of the NTTC officials should post the itinerary as of now so that those of you having to travel to the tourney will know before traveling.
In my opinion its not worth the risk. Thats just me though.

Well the "Reel Redneck's" are out, had planned on coming up but just to bad and to far to drive through it all... There are roads closed all around us due to ice, not so much snow here. IF there is a reschedule the week before the Cabelas King Kat might be good, everyone and there dog will be pre fishing it anyway....just throwin' it out there.
