i went to look at the ramp on both sides of the bridge today. no ice on the ramps. The dock at Kenny's is frozen, but not the one on west side. the roads anywhere near the lake are 100% clear, so it is just a matter of getting out of the middle of DFW areas. parking lots also have zero ice. I don't know if the ramps will ice once a boat pulls out and remember that this is before any new precip predicted.
I am about 50% sure I will be there, but if I am, I will not launch till at least sun up if not later. You will not want to throw nets and do anything that gets water in the boat. Last time I made a skating rink in muy boat, I said I would never do it again. I sure wish the weather would have held and I will still hope it is warmer than predicted.

Anyone want to guess what will win it? If the lake fishes like it's fished in the last couple weeks I bet 110lbs takes it.

Ok if you insist, just stay seated when one of them rods in the front starts that ole slow bend towards the water and starts peeling drag before I can get to it!!!
